I’m working on a brand new website, and will be migrating the content from this site over the next few weeks.
Come on over and say hi!
Blue skies, huge mountains and bikes. Three things I love, and three things that Switzerland has in bags. Switzerland is a pretty great location to test out some mountain bikes, and it’s not surprising that Scott Bicycles choose it as the location for it’s Scott Contessa mountain bike press camp. That, and the fact that European HQ of the brand is in Switzerland.
I’m a big fan of 3/4 length bib shorts, especially for mountain biking, as I tend to get too hot in full length tights and knee warmers just annoy me – I’ve yet to find some that don’t roll down as I ride. But they can be hard to find.
In January 2014 I thought ‘Hey, I really need a challenge this year. Something to push me to develop my mountain biking skills, to make me work on my fitness, something to aspire to.” Although I’ve been mountain biking a few years, what with living in London, being in a long-distance relationship, and having a hectic job I was at best a weekend rider. Every time I went riding, it took me a good few hours if not days to get back into the swing of things. I wanted to improve.
